CAMPING IS SOLD OUT in the festival area... so sorry. See below for other campings areas.

Camping at the Madison Base Area is the ONLY designated area for camping.  **There is NO camping in the Big Sky Resort parking lot area and definitely NO sleeping in your car; security will be checking.

***OTHER CAMPGROUNDS IN THE BIG SKY AREA.  BOOK ASAP.  Check for nearby shuttles to the festival.

FESTIVAL Campground opens FRIDAY** at 10:00 am and closes Sunday NOON.  If you arrive a day early, or want to stay an extra day or two, check out the hotel packages offered by Big Sky Resort or other lodging in town.

Tents, Pop-ups and RVs are all welcome. Camping is ‘in-the-rough’ on flat, dirt parking lot (no hookups for electricity or water).

NO FIRES !!!  Gas grills & cook stoves allowed only

BE BEAR AWARE !  This is a Grizzly Bear area.

NO firearms or fireworks.

NO drones

*NO GENERATORS AFTER 10PM or before 7 am.

*QUIET TIME AFTER 2AM...please...

We provide 

* free water for drinking , 

· Portable toilets 

· Hand sanitizing stations 

· Trash Pickup and Recycling stations

* Free WIFI... but it is spotty in the area

All people camping must purchase Festival tickets; vehicles will be checked on entry.

Campsites are 15' x 40' . No more than 1 Car, 2 tents per campsite, 6 people max.  Please be considerate of all those around you. 

Pick up all trash. Dumpsters and Recycling are provided close by. There are BEARS and other wildlife in the area. Bear proof containers and safety mandatory.

NO OPEN FIRES !! It is fire season in the mountains! Gas grills and cook stoves allowed.

** ALL CAMPERS MUST PURCHASE INDIVIDUAL TICKETS TO THE FESTIVAL FOR BOTH DAYS  prior to checking in at the campground**  Buy on line or wait in line at Big Sky Resort. Save $10 by purchasing before day of show.

** Once you are parked in the campground area you will NOT be allowed to leave, for safety reasons.  Please come prepared to camp for the 2 days. 

** Wristbands will always be checked to enter campground area.  You don't want to find someone else taking a nap in your tent.
