  • Gates open 2 hours prior to the show each day.

  • PLAN AHEAD- all attendees must travel by shuttle to reach the festival grounds.

  • Wristbands are required to enter the festival grounds.  You can leave and reenter as long as your wristband is securely attached.

  • All bags and backpacks will be checked by as you enter the festival grounds.

  • No outside food and beverage or coolers are allowed inside the festival. There will be a wide variety of food and drink vendors in the festival grounds.

  • A valid ID is required to buy alcoholic beverages in the festival.

  • Empty reusable water bottles are allowed and water filling stations will be provided.  No glass bottles please. Souvenir bottles are available at the merch tent.

  • Venue is outside with limited areas for shelter.  Shows will go on rain or shine unless weather conditions are deemed to dangerous.

  • Chairs or blankets are welcome and need to be removed each night. Souvenir Cozy Creek chairs will be available at the merch tent.

  • Umbrellas, shade tents, and tall chairs may be set up in the rear of the festival grounds behind all the blankets and chairs, and need to be removed each night.

  • Mountain weather is unpredictable; come prepared with layers for sun, wind, rain, and cool evenings. Souvenir blankets and sweatshirts will be available for purchase at the merch tent.

  • An ATM is available in the festival grounds.

  • No pets are allowed in the festival or may be left in cars.*

  • No firearms or knives over 3” are permitted in the festival grounds.

  • For forest fire prevention, No smoking or open fires are allowed in the festival lawn area.  Smoking is permitted in food truck area on the gravel lot, please make sure all cigarettes are out and properly disposed of.


Service Animal Procedures

Moonlight MusicFest is an ADA compliant event. Disclaimer: The GA viewing area is on an incline. Please expect hills, grassy fields, dirt roads and paths through the woods, including a incline to reach the viewing area and to exit the festival. As with any natural terrain, mother nature can impact the conditions. Please fill out our ADA registration form below by August 15, 2019 if you need special accommodation at the festival.

Moonlight MusicFest supports the rights and attendance of all persons with disabilities that rely on the special skills of a trained service animal. What we DO NOT support, nor will tolerate, are pets being misrepresented by their owners as service animals, when in fact they are not. So please, don’t do it. Leave your pet at home. It is a crime to misrepresent a pet as a service animal. Those who bring their non-service animals to the festival will be ejected from the festival site without refund. You must provide proper documentation for your service animal to gain entry to the festival.

Service Animal Definition:

A ‘service animal’ means “any dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability. The work or tasks performed by a service animal must be directly related to the handler’s disability.”

Emotional support and/or comfort animals are not considered service animals under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and therefore are not allowed at Moonlight MusicFest.

Service Animal Policies:

For patrons with disabilities who wish to bring their legitimate qualified service animal to Moonlight MusicFest, we ask that you review and follow the policies outlined below:

  1. Service animals must be accompanied by the handler with the disability at all times.

  2. Service animals must be under the control and supervision of their handler at all times.

  3. Service animals are not permitted to be left in camp unattended under any circumstances.

  4. Handlers are required to be prepared for, and clean-up after, their animals at all times.

  5. We reserve the right to remove and/or refuse access to any service animal from the campgrounds or venues if that animal is deemed to be a health or safety threat to festival patrons, staff, or other service animals, or in violation of these policies.

  6. All service animals must be credentialed by Moonlight MusicFest staff (see the procedures below).

If any handler does not adhere to these conditions, the handler will be asked to remove the animal from the site. The handler then may return without the animal. Moonlight MusicFest reserves the right to refuse admittance or eject any individual whose conduct poses a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals or service animals.

Service Animal Procedures:

All patrons with disabilities attending Moonlight MusicFest this year with a service animal will need to have that animal credentialed by our staff before entering the main gate. This process will be performed quickly and respectfully by our main gate staff.

What will you need to do? It’s easy. Once you arrive at Moonlight MusicFest, tell our main gate staff that you need to register your service animal. Our staff will speak with you, request proper documentation, record your contact information, and provide a collar tag for your service animal. Then you are good to go! Security and staff will be on the lookout this year for all animals to have a properly credentialed Moonlight MusicFest wrist band attached to the collar.

Remember, service animals are allowed, all other animals are not. Any patron bringing a non-service animal will be not permitted onto any of the festival grounds, including camping areas. We’re sorry for any inconvenience and truly appreciate your compliance.
