shuttles and parking
There is no parking at the MusicFest site. Unless you have a camping pass, the only way to get to the festival is to take a short shuttle ride from the free parking lot at Big Sky Resort or designated shuttle areas in Big Sky Town Center.
Shuttles are how you'll get to the festival and how you'll leave. They'll begin 2 hours before the opening act on both days, and will run continuously from then on. If you're waiting for others to arrive or just want to hang out at the Resort for a bit, grab a drink at Montana Jack's or Hummers. The Hungry Moose has great food and drink and there's an ATM if you need some cash.
Tickets will be checked before you can board a shuttle. Wristbands for entry to the festival will be issued at this point.
Park at Big Sky Resort. Follow the signs to the free parking lot. No camping or sleeping in vehicles is allowed at the Big Sky Resort parking lot. Big Sky Resort Parking Map
Park in Big Sky Town Center. Take the free Skyline shuttle up the mountain, then take the festival shuttle to Madison Village and avoid driving up and down the mountain.
Avoid driving and parking altogether. Take the Karst Stage bus from the Bozeman area to Big Sky. Look for signs for the festival shuttle to Madison Village, and party like a rock star.
No parking at the festival site or past the Big Sky Resort free lot.
Camping pass required to drive past Big Sky Resort.
Only park in designated areas at Big Sky Resort and legal spots in town or your vehicle will be towed.
No pets are allowed at the festival. Any pets left in vehicles will be reported to the Sheriff's office.
Buzzed driving is drunk driving. Don't do it.
